It was fun playing with the kids during this four week summer school. We went to the community centre of Hands on Shanghai to carry on a drawing class once a week and created a lot of interesting art pieces together!
The kids are migrant students mainly living in Minhang district. They had a long summer vacation but their parents had to go working and no one was taking care of them. As a result, Hands on Shanghai organized this summer school and invited a lot of voluntary teachers to lead different classes in art, music, taichi, photography, science and even theatre! This school is absolutely amazing!
