Urban Paintmob aims to inspire and connect people together with arts, arts that you can participate in!

Roving Art Community

We create a “roving art community” for people coming from all walks of life. On this platform, different activities are made for our comrades regularly in order to encourage inspiration and sharing. For example, you can join our Happy Happy Weekend Paintmob parties to draw a picture without the constraints of a formal art class. There is no art critique here, yet we will facilitate your adventure by providing all the paints, brushes, canvasses, picture references…… everything you need to make your masterpiece. Most importantly, you are there to make friends, share stories, get inspired and inspire others as well!

“移动艺术社区”

都市画会致力透过艺术——是你可以亲身参与的艺术——来启发人的创意，并且把不同的人连接在一起！

我们特地为五湖四海的朋友创建了一个“移动艺术社区”，在这个平台之上，我们定期举办各种有趣的活动以激发灵感、促进分享。比如说：在我们的“快乐快乐周末Paintmob派对”，你可以随意在画布上画出任何想法，没有人会指指点点，也没有上画画课那么沉闷。我们会准备好所有的颜料、画笔、画布、图片参考等，让你轻易地创造你的作品。最重要的是，你可以在这里结交新的朋友，分享你们的故事，激发别人的灵感也被别人激发！

Corporate Training

We also apply our expertise in helping companies produce interactive team-building or creativity workshops. Usually a team of co-workers, maybe coming from a single department or from several global offices, are put into a creative task in which they have to discuss, explore, try and err, and keep improving until a collective art piece is born. Therefore, it is a very good way to encourage team interactions and aspirations. Our workshops are highly customizable according to the needs and objectives of our corporate clients. It can be a half-day creative session or a three-month series that covers a variety of workshops, exercises and exhibitions.

企业培训

我们也运用我们的专长替有需要的企业策划互动性团队培训活动或创意工作坊。通常在这些活动里，一组同事——可能是来自于一个部门或者是全球几个不同的办公室——会共同完成一个创意任务，他们需要讨论、探索、尝试、试错和不停改善，直到集体的作品诞生为止。所以，这种活动对提升团队中的互动和打造团队雄心，是一个非常好的工具。我们的工作坊都可以按照客户的需求和目的来订制，不管是一次半天的创意培训或者是一期三个月涵盖工作坊、练习课题和展览的系列活动。

Community activities

Urban Paintmob also strives to benefit the community by bringing our unique participatory art activities to the people in need. We have been a partner of the annual charity auction of SMIC Private School since 2006; We also supported Hands on Shanghai and independent volunteer Ms. Rachel Roseman to bring art workshops for school children; In 2011, we would like to make community activities a regular scope of work in which more resources will be put into projects like ”Art in Hospital”. We expect to have a deeper collaboration with NGOs like Hands on Shanghai as it proves to be a successful model as they are more professional in project management and we can focus in creating the activity content. Look forward to seeing you in these activities!

公益活动

都市画会更努力回馈社会，让有需要的人参与在我们的特色艺术活动中。自2006年，我们是民办中芯学校“博爱艺术义卖展”的合作伙伴；我们也支持“牵手上海”和志愿者罗斯曼女士，给学校的孩子们准备美术工作坊；在2011年，我们希望把社区活动变成一个常规性的工作内容，投入更多资源在——比如说——“艺术在医院”这一类的计划中。我们期待跟像“牵手上海”这种非政府组织有更密切的合作关系，以往经验已经证明他们在项目管理上有更专业的能力，而我们就可以集中精力在活动内容上。希望能在这些活动里，看到你的身影！
